The Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has basically completed the Quang Trung Campaign launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to swiftly rebuild and repair homes for people affected by natural disasters, helping hundreds of families stabilise their lives. According to the Dak Lak provincial People’s Committee, as of January 12, all 892 severely damaged houses in the province had been repaired, while 529 of the 606 homes that were collapsed, destroyed or swept away by floods had been rebuilt. Construction is continuing on the remaining 77 houses, with completion targeted for January 15. Of these, 16 houses in resettlement areas are scheduled for handover on January 19. VNA Photo: Tuấn Anh
