Every early morning at Man Thai beach in the central city of Da Nang, locals gather to join the bustling seafood market. The market is alive with fishing boats, basket boats, fishermen and buyers going to-and-fro for the freshest seafood. Locals lovingly call it the “hustling market”, because the traders and sellers here stand or sit closely together, offering various types of seafood in different sizes. Caught by the fishermen in the beach’s nearby villages during the night and early morning, the seafood here is especially fresh and delicious. The market usually lasts about an hour or two before the sun rises high, when all the fishermen’s nets are empty and the delicious seafood is being transported to consumers and restaurants.
