First established in 1993, through a collaboration between Frankfurt Zoological Society and Cuc Phuong National Park, the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre is dedicated to the research and conservation of Vietnam’s endangered primates. The centre is home to around 180 primates representing 15 species. The centre is not only successful in breeding endangered primates in captivity, which are Cat Ba Langur, Delacour’s Langur, and the Grey-Shanked Douc Langur, but also rehabilitates 80 primates to the wild.
