Located in the eastern sea off Quang Tri province, Con Co Island, once known by the ominous name "Steel Island" during the war, now presents a different face: bluer, more peaceful, and more attractive. Unlike other well-known destinations, this small island quietly preserves unique layers of history: tens of thousands of years old basalt rock formations, pristine tropical forests, and the lingering memories of war. All these elements blend together to create a "green gem" in the middle of the ocean, possessing a beauty that is slow-paced, unpretentious, yet captivating enough to draw visitors in.
