The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has put more efforts to accelerate the new-style rural construction in order to fulfill the target of having 100 percent of districts and communes recorgnised as new-style rural areas by 2025. In the coming time, the province will continue to effectively develop the rural economy, implement the agricultural restructure, promote the One-Commune, One-Product programme to enhance the value of agricultural products, thus helping to increase locals’ income. By the end of 2024, Lam Dong expects to have its last two communes, namely Da Long and Lieng Sronh in Dam Rong district recognised. Up to now, Lam Dong province has five districts and 2 cities, namely Don Duong, Da Te, Duc Trong, Cat Tien and Lam Ha districts, and Da Lat and Bao Loc cities, and 109/111 communes meeting new-style rural area standards.
