The Labour Federation of the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre on March 27 organised a groundbreaking ceremony for a housing construction project, providing new homes for its members struggling with substandard living conditions. At the ceremony in Son Phu commune, Giong Trom district, the federation unveiled its support for nine new housing units, with a total investment of 540 million VND (over 21,000 USD). Beyond housing, the federation has supported over 500 workers through a concessional loan programme, totaling more than 10 billion VND.
