Tam Hoa Bac Ha plum are renowned specialty fruits from the highlands of Lao Cai, distinguished by their sweet, crisp flavor and rich aroma of the Northwest mountains. Due to the short harvesting season, the Quang Tom cooperative (located in Bac Ha, Lao Cai province) purchases fresh plums and applies processing technology to create dried products that retain their natural color and flavor, extending shelf life to between 6 and 12 months. Each year, the cooperative produces around 10 tons of OCOP 3-star standard dried plums to the market, creating jobs for 10 local workers and stable income for 7 cooperative members. This is not only an effective economic solution, opening up a sustainable source of income, but also contributes to enhancing the value of local agricultural products and building the brand of Northwest specialties.
