Known as the most famous spiritual destination in the South, Ba Den mountain in Tay Ninh province welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors to make pilgrimages and celebrate spring in the first days of the Lunar New Year of the Snake. In the religious life of Vietnam, going to temples and pagodas to pray for peace and luck during Tet has become a tradition of many Vietnamese people. Ba Den mountain in the southern province of Tay Ninh is not only considered a mountain that gathers the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, but is also associated with many legends about the sacredness and responsiveness of Ba Den, attracting a large number of pilgrims to the mountain during Tet holiday.
