Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theory Council and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) Nguyễn Xuân Thắng led a CPV delegation to the event from Tuesday and Wednesday.

The official proposed that the high-level security leaders of BRICS member countries and those from the Southern Hemisphere consider several solutions, such as prioritising the building of strategic trust

The event was attended by representatives from the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports, the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, and the Vietnamese community in Vientiane, alongside students, parents and teachers.

Participants exchanged views on the results of cooperation, proposed solutions to address remaining challenges and obstacles, as well as discussed orientations for future cooperation.

They were found to lack responsibility and lax leadership and direction, resulting in the provincial People's Committee and numerous organisations and individuals committing serious violations of Party regulations and State laws.

The Việt Nam-Laos relationship is a common invaluable asset, the objective necessity and the greatest source of strength of the two Parties, States and people of the two nations, said the officials at the meeting.

NA Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn suggested that the two countries continue to coordinate closely, increasing the exchange of high-level delegations and at other levels, while maximising the effectiveness of existing cooperation mechanisms.

The Vietnamese leader underlined equality, open mindedness, mutual benefits and international law compliance in carrying out economic connectivity and cooperation initiatives in the region and the world.

The host leaders expressed their belief that following the visit, high-level parliamentary meetings will take place more regularly, creating a firm foundation for and significantly contributing to the development of the Việt Nam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.

The two sides agreed on several major directions for future cooperation between their legislatures. These include studying and accelerating the signing of a bilateral cooperation agreement.

Diveikin assessed that these agreements have been successfully implemented and expressed a wish for the two sides to enhance exchanges through new formats.

They expressed satisfaction at the progress in the relations between the two parties and governments and their comprehensive cooperation over recent years. 

The two ladies had a friendly conversation, and shared the beautiful memories they had when meeting in Việt Nam and Laos.

Expanding investments to drive economic growth is a priority in achieving the target of 15 percent set for this year, said Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Dao Minh Tu.
