Mauritania's leader congratulated Việt Nam on the country's achievements so far, regarding Việt Nam as a success example for African countries, including Mauritania. He expressed his belief that Việt Nam will be an active bridge for AU-ASEAN cooperation.

The visit to France from October 6-7 by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam takes place amid positive developments in the relations between the two countries. It demonstrates Vietnam’s high regard for the strategic partnership with France, and aims to deepen and make the ties more practical.

As an active and responsible member of this community, Việt Nam strongly supports and actively engages in the community’s efforts to enhance economic cooperation for member countries’ prosperity and sustainable development.

ASEAN is committed to accelerating the implementation of the social development agenda, the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and its other relevant cooperation frameworks to build a resilient, inclusive community where no one is left behind.
