At the G20 Summit, Vietnam will present key policy messages that contribute to global efforts to boost economic growth, reduce risks and strengthen cooperation in strategic sectors such as minerals, energy, trade system reform, finance, and global investment in the context of reshaping and building current global rules and regulations.

The activities, taking place from November 21–24, are held at the invitation of South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, who serves as Chair of the G20 in 2025.

The meeting reviewed the formation and strengthening of subcommittees and the Secretariat, outlined the work roadmap through 2027, and examined preparations and infrastructure projects in host locations, especially Phú Quốc Island, which will host the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week.

The first-ever lawmaking forum is designed to comprehensively review legislative activities since the start of the 15th NA term, stressing innovations in lawmaking approaches, assessing major achievements, drawing lessons learned, and identifying effective practices for replication.
