The exhibition will showcase 70 special works including paintings, graphics, sculptures, sketches, posters and compositions created by 34 veteran Vietnamese artists between 1949 and 2009.

The opening ceremony will take place at 8.30am on Thursday at Núi Cốc Lake Tourist Area, Tân Thái commune, Đại Từ District, a famous eco-tourism resort destination in Thái Nguyên.

A space dedicated to the history of bánh mì will be arranged at the festival, helping popularise the food among both domestic and foreign visitors.
