– President Vo Van Thuong on June 14 received President of Côte d’Ivoire’s National Assembly Adama Bictogo, who is on an official visit to Vietnam from June 13-16.
President Thuong told his guest that Vietnam attaches importance to promoting its friendship and cooperation with African friends, of which Côte d’Ivoire is identified as one of its important partners. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested renewing mindset and improving institutions and national governance quality to create an environment conducive to industrialisation and modernisation.
Addressing a plenary session themed "Accelerating digital and green transitions in driving breakthroughs to shorten the process of industrialisation and modernisation to 2030 with a vision to 2045" of the annual Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2023 in Hanoi on June 14, PM Chinh said the fourth industrial revolution, including digital and green transitions, has exerted a widespread and profound impact on industrialisation and modernisation in Vietnam. – The Veenfabrik Theater successfully staged and performed a modern-style play called "Wereld van Wie?" (World of Whom), a creative blend of simple yet profound philosophical dialogues intertwined with Vietnamese music rich in folk elements, at Oerol Festival on Terschelling island in Friesland province of the Netherlands last weekend.
The play tells the story of Phi Nguyen, a boy born in the ancient capital of Hue, who migrated to the Netherlands at the age of 3 and grew up with ups and downs of life. Read full story./.
