-Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested clearly defining the vision, targets, and driving force for the future development of Hanoi while chairing a meeting in the capital city on June 13 to review the task of adjusting the Hanoi Capital Master Plan till 2045 with a vision to 2065.
Ha emphasised the urgent need to finalise the PM’s draft decision on approving the task of adjusting the Master Plan.Read full text

- Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand Sarun Charoensuwan co-chaired the ninth political consultation between the two countries in Hanoi on June 13.
The two sides shared the view that cooperation in politics - diplomacy, security, and defence remains one of the important pillars of the Vietnam - Thailand relations. -Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have become top important partners of each other in various fields, with economic, trade and investment cooperation serving as both pillar and primary driver of their increasingly growing relationship, said Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.

-Six more suspects were arrested on June 13 in connection with the June 11 gun attacks in Cu Kuin district of the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak, bring the total number of detained suspects to 45, spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security Lieut. Gen. To An Xo said on June 13 afternoon.

-There are great opportunities for Belgium investors in the development of seaports in Vietnam, a country owning a coastline of over 3,200km, heard a conference held in Anvers city of Belgium on June 12.
The conference was held by the Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnam Trade Office in Belgium in coordination with the Belgian-Vietnamese Alliance (BVA), the Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and The Beacon Group, aiming to promote Vietnam-Belgium cooperation in seaport and logistics.
