Reference exchange rate down by 5 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,993 VND/USD on the morning of April 9, down by 5 VND from the day earlier.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks for the day is 23,691 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,294 VND/USD.
Commercial banks made slight changes to their rates.
At 8:15, Vietcombank posted the buying rate at 23,155 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,255 VND/USD, up by 5 VND from the day ago.
BIDV offered the rates at 23,150-23,250 VND per USD, unchanged from April 8.
Meanwhile, at Techcombank, the buying and selling rates were 23,130 VND and 23,250 VND/USD, unchanged from the day ago.-VNA
