VN shows solidarity with Japan flood victims

HÀ NỘI — On behalf of the people of Việt Nam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday transferred US$100,000 to victims of the recent floods.

The Japanese Embassy in Việt Nam expressed gratitude for the gesture and Viêt Nam-Japan friendship.

On July 8, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc called Japanese premier Shinzo Abe to express his condolences for the loss of human lives and the devastation caused by the flood. — VNS
