A National Assembly delegation on October 25 attended a conference on strengthening the role of parliamentarians of member countries of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) in implementing the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) mechanism on human rights. Co-organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (APF), the OIF, and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the conference takes place both in virtual and in-person formats on October 25-26./.
