The restoration and upgrade of Kien Trung Palace in the Hue Imperial Citadel (Dai Noi) began on February 16 in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue. The project, with the total funding of more than 123 billion VND (about 5.5 million USD), is expected to complete in 2022. The Kien Trung Palace served as the working and living place of Khai Dinh and Bao Dai, the last kings of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). VNA Photo: Quốc Việt
