The award affirms Home Credit's sustainability strategy and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy in Vietnam, helping to strengthen the Company’s relationships with its customers, communities, employees, and other stakeholders.

CSI100 is an award organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. It has run for seven consecutive years since 2016. The award honours pioneering enterprises that practice sustainability across all their business activities regarding the economy, society, and the environment.

In order to achieve this prestigious title, businesses must meet 130 indicators in the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI), of which 68 percent are related to legal compliance and 32 percent to sustainable business initiatives, including internal processes and risk management as well as contributions to Vietnam's economic development, social development, and environmental protection. The CSI is therefore regarded as comprising the most complete set of criteria to evaluate the sustainability of enterprises’ overall operations, helping them to do business better and benefit from new opportunities.

2022 is the first year that Home Credit has participated in the CSI100 award but has surpassed thousands of other candidates, fully meeting the award's criteria to be honoured in the Top 100 Sustainable Companies.
