Reference exchange rate down 18 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,159 VND/USD on October 15, down 18 VND from the previous day.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.
At 8:15, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,630 VND/USD, up 10 VND from October 14 but kept the selling rate unchanged at 22,860 VND/USD.
BIDV kept both rates unchanged at 22,660 VND/USD (buying) and 22,860 VND/USD (selling).
During the week from October 11-15, the exchange rate followed an upward trend for most of the week but turned around on Friday. It ended the week 11 VND lower than the rate on Monday./.
