Dak Lak (VNA) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan paid a pre-Tet visit to the Military High Command of the central Highlands province of Dak Lak on January 15. 

She lauded the staff of the command for holding activities celebrating the 30th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival, the 75th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, as well as external works with the Cambodian province of Mondulkiri.

In order to fulfill assigned tasks, she asked the provincial Military High Command to seriously follow the Party’s resolutions and directives, and work closely with the public security forces, border guards and competent agencies to provide consultations for local authorities about military and defence work.

It was required to enhance inspection in key areas, ensure political security and social safety and order, and raise public awareness of the country’s political and socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the upcoming Lunar New Year festival.

In the morning the same day, Ngan visited and extended New Year wishes to a 93-year-old war veteran in Buon Ma Thuot city.

Later in the morning, she visited and offered incense to late Party and State leaders in their families./.
