Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank adjusted the daily reference exchange rate on September 19 up by another 10 VND to 22,710 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of + /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,390 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,030 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks decreased slightly compared to September 18.

Vietcombank cut both rates by 5 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,250 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,330 VND/USD.

At BIDV, the buying rate is also being listed at 23,250 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,330 VND/USD, both down 5 VND from September 18.

Techcombank cut the buying rate by 20 VND to 23,220 VND/USD and the selling rate by 15 VND to 23,325 VND/USD.

The daily reference exchange rate opened this week unchanged from the last day of previous week but was on the rising trend for the next two days.-VNA
