NA chief congratulates new speaker of Iraqi parliament
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on September 18 sent a congratulatory message to Mohamed Al-Halbusi on his election as Speaker of Iraq’s Council of Representatives.

Aged 37, Halbusi, a member of the Al-Hall (Solution) Party, is the youngest person to serve as Speaker of the Iraqi parliament.
He was previously Governor of Anbar province.
Vietnam and Iraq established diplomatic relations in 1968. Bilateral trade hit 308.12 million USD in 2017, according to the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.-VNA
