Hanoi (VNA) – Two frigates of the Vietnam Navy arrived at Dagang port in Qingdao, Shandong province, on April 21, to attend multilateral naval activities marking the 70th anniversary of the Navy of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

According to the Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) daily, the voyage of the 015-Tran Hung Dao and the 011-Dinh Tien Hoang is commanded by Colonel Nguyen Dinh Hung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Naval Region 4.

Vietnam’s participation in the event aims to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two navies and the two militaries in particular and the all-round Vietnam - China bilateral relations in general.-VNA
