Hanoi (VNA) – The National Steering Committee for International Integration will hold a meeting in the first half of April to review its performance since its inception five years ago.

The conference will focus on enhancing the proactive, creative and effective integration into the world for the sake of fast and sustainable development.

It will review the Government’s implementation of Resolution 22-NQ/TW on international integration, issued by the 11th-tenure Politburo on April 10, 2013, and Resolution 06-NQ/TW on international integration amid Vietnam’s participation in new-generation free trade agreements, issued by the 12th-tenure Party Central Committee on November 5, 2016.

The meeting will point out experience and devise measures to step up the country’s integration into the world in the coming time.

It will gather leaders from agencies in charge of external relations of the Party, the National Assembly and the President’s Office, along with representatives of socio-political organisations like the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Farmers’ Union, and some international organisations.-VNA
