Hanoi (VNA) - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh hosted a reception for Alexander Anikin, Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Russian President in Hanoi on February 18.

The Deputy PM said that Vietnam respects and appreciates the friendship and fruitful cooperation across fields with Russia.

He stressed the country always attaches important to anti-corruption work and considers it one of the top priorities to build a professional, modern and transparent administration.

He affirmed the Vietnamese Government always encourages and facilitates collaboration between anti-corruption agencies of Vietnam and Russia, towards further cooperation and friendship between the two nations.

He spoke highly of the outcomes of recent cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Anti-Corruption Department of the Russian President, especially in delegation exchange and information and experience sharing, while expressing his hope that the two agencies will boost their bond in the coming time.

For his part, Anikin said Russia always pays attention to and seriously carry out anti-corruption work.

He expressed his pleasure to know that Vietnam has used Russia's experience in the work, believing that the fine relationship between the two sides would lay a foundation for the two agencies to expand cooperation in anti-corruption.
