Man arrested for keeping 3,200 methamphetamine pills
Police in the northwestern mountainous province of Son La arrested a local man on February 12 for illegally storing 3,200 methamphetamine pills.

The suspect is Vang A Do, born in 1984 and residing in Co Sung village, Dong Sang commune, Moc Chau district.
When caught red handed in Dong Sang’s Cham Chay village, Do shot against a group of local police, injuring Lieutenant Kieu Xuan Manh. He was overwhelmed and arrested together with the drug pills, a military pistol, a magazine, and four bullets.
The injured officer, meanwhile, was rushed to the Moc Chau General Hospital. He is now in stable condition.
The case is under investigation.-VNA
