HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam is committed to Open Government Partnership (OPG) as part of its efforts to fight corruption and promote transparency and government accountability, said participants at a conference held in Hà Nôi on May 17 on a study about implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Việt Nam and OPG.
Participants at the conference, which was organised by Towards Transparency and funded by Belgium’s Foreign Ministry and the Danish Embassy, pointed out that corruption has been identified as a serious issue for the country. There is a need to build and improve anti-corruption measures and policies, which was reflected in the Government’s commitment in the implementation of SDGs and the National Action Plan on sustainable development in May last year.
